Weight Loss is Still Going Well!

Hey all, sorry for the huge lack of blog posts in the last two months.  I've been focusing on my weight loss a lot and I haven't had time to blog.  Anyway, I've been working out a lot and eating less shitty foods.  It's all paying off like whoa.  I don't have any progress pictures though, sorry (check out my previous blog post if you want to see some pics from a couple of months ago).  I've never been happier than I am now.  I have more confidence, more muscles, and more motivation to do better in school.  My current weight is 335, down from 343 one month ago.  Feels awesome, you know?  Anyway, I will continue to work out and eat well as I watch the pounds fall off.  Here's to the future!

Here's a song to remember me by :D

WEIGHT LOSS PROGRESS/2 New Song Cover

I've been busy with school and other things the past few weeks and haven't felt the desire to blog.  Anyway, I thought I'd stop in and give you all a quick update on my weight loss progress.  Monday will be the start of my 9th week of turning my life around (I started on 7/18/11).  I've taken progress pics every two weeks or so that in a few more months, the weight I shed can really be put into perspective.  The following are the first pics I took and the most recent ones.

Here is what I looked like on 8/5/11 (WARNING: FAT FUCK AHEAD)

Yep.

Also, I covered two songs I really enjoy.
"If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn" by Sleeping with Sirens
"Angel Baby" by Rosie and the Originals (I sing in this one, so watch at your own risk and shit)
Enjoy guys, and I'll be catching up with your blogs very soon.

I've been busy!

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of posts.  I've been busy doing other things haha.  For starters, I've been getting my classes situated for the upcoming year.  That's always fun.  Also, I've taken some initiative and have decided to turn my life around, physically speaking.  If you could not tell in my Seven Nation Army video, I'm pretty fat.  Two weeks ago, I started eating better and working out almost daily.  I've been eating exactly half of what I normally eat and drinking water and milk, with some juice very very sparingly (like 1 cup every few days or so) and soda completely cut out.  I'm liking the results so far.  I don't know how much weight I've lost, nor do I know what I weighed before.  I do know that I have definitely gained some muscle from working out for around  20 minutes 4 days a week.  It feels good.  I'm going to be taking some progress pictures soon and might post them here in the next couple of weeks or months to document my weight loss/muscle gain.
On an unrelated note, I'm sorry I've been behind on checking out all your blogs.  I'll try and catch up as soon as I can.
Cheers!  (I'll leave you all with a song from my favorite deathcore band.  Gotta represent AZ :P)

Hey all, I was bored yesterday and decided to cover this awesome song.  Don't worry, I will be covering another song in the future.  I just haven't decided among all your suggestions.

Just a couple more weeks...

Until my online Biology class is over.  Just one more unit and then the final exam!   This class has been a breeze. I've skimmed the chapters and done NONE of the practicals and I still have a B+ in the class.  I'm sure I'll bump that up to an A with this upcoming unit.  Sweet victory!

Here's a song for the hell of it.

Just thought I'd throw this out there

This is where I get my blog name from.
This is an amazing song.  The Raconteurs are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands.  Anyway, I just thought I'd let this be known.  Hasta.

GOD-FUCKING-DAMMIT

Alright, I had my memory card from my camera in my hand, right?  I sit on my bed in order to reach for something behind my nightstand.  Being the genius I am, I reached for it with the hand my memory card was in.  As I was grabbing for the thing behind my nightstand, my memory card goes flying  behind all my other stuff.  I am now unable to find it.  FUCK FUCK FUCK.

I need some good music to cheer myself up :(.

You know what I love about Arizona?/Going to cover a song soon

The fact that it's cloudy outside and looks like rain but it's still 104 degrees.  Summer, you little devil.

Anyhoo, I'm going to make a video of myself covering a song on guitar soon.  I'm not sure what song I should do, so I'm calling out for help.  I would like you guys to maybe list some songs I could cover.  Nothing too hard please.  I look forward to any requests!

EDIT: I can do both electric and acoustic guitar.

I think I might start liking garage rock...

This is...good?  Haha.  I guess this is partly thanks to the White Stripes.  I started listening to them about a year and a half ago.  They're now my second favorite band (Ramones are my favorite).  As of recently, I've been exploring older and more genuine garage rock.  The Dirtbombs and the Stomachmouths, from what I've heard so far, are amazing.  I downloaded a ton of assorted garage rock songs a while and I've liked everything I've heard so far.  Here's to liking another genre of music!

What are your favorite genres of music?  Mine are punk, metalcore, dubstep, drum 'n bass, and old-school rap.

Here are some of my favorite garage rock songs:

Does anyone else enjoy riding the bus?

I really enjoy the hell out of it.  It costs money, sure, but I usually get a monthly pass so I don't spend $5 per day on my daily commute to Phoenix College.  Summer is an exception because I ride sporadically.  Anyway, I just enjoy chilling in my seat watching the outdoors zip by.  It's nice and air conditioned in the bus, which is amazing for these hot Arizona summers.  I also see plenty of hot chicks on the bus too, which is good to pass the time.  One thing I hate is how I never know when some busses are going to arrive.  They're usually fairly consistent, but some are totally random.  I'm often stuck sitting in the hot sun for a while before one finally comes.  Usually I'll bring my guitar along with me to pass this time (I only play it while I'm waiting; I'm not a douche who plays it on the bus and shit).  All in all, I really like using public transportation.  The people are cool and friendly and I get to interact with people at the bus stops.
